RBG Made the World a Better Place

“I try to teach through my opinions, through my speeches, how wrong it is to judge people on the basis of what they look like, color of their skin, whether they’re men or women.”

                                    —Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg worked hard her whole life to make the world a better place. With her passing, our country has lost one of the greatest jurists in our long and storied history, and one of the toughest advocates for civil rights and women's rights.

As a lifelong champion and defender of the Constitution, she believed the document should be "ever more inclusive," and spent her life trying to reach that goal by opening up doors for every American. She would always remind her audience that the great document starts off with three words, "we the People"meaning all people.

Justice Ginsburg spent her career giving voice to people who needed attention. She understood the best way to make a case and was deliberate in her research, arguments and timing.

As we honor her life, let's take a lesson from her words"fight for the things that you care about. But do it in a way that will lead others to join you."
